His name needs no introduction to the world. The man with a charisma in him and his humility have further wowed fans who have never doubted the integrity, dignity and honesty of this much disciplined Blogger also carrying the load of Superstardom on his shoulders. who shares his thoughts with his fans on his blog regularly, and refers to bloggers as his extended family.
Yes I am talking about Megastar Amitabh Bachchan who has been regularly updating his blog ever since it was launched in April 2008. From movies to his arguments with the media to social issues – he has written at length on various subjects and there are some whispers that now it may be compiled into a full-fledged book.
I felt in love with him as I became the regular reader of his blog. His writings filled attitude in me. He is known for his thoroughly professional attitude. He hardly can be seen missing his schedule, he works very hard to portray each and every role he plays. Be it working in movies, Shows, Commercials. Despite his old age, he can give the youngsters a hard run. I trust he is a very good listener and organizer in the real life.
There is no doubt that Mr. Bachchan is the biggest star in the history of Indian cinema. As per a BBC Poll ranked him as the greatest actor of the millennium. Unlike most actors, he is one actor who probably, could have easily made career in literature as well. The press keeps comparing him to the actors who are far behind him, but he probably saw a way to show his class by cutting the crap and making a direct connection to his fans worldwide. I was among one of them who was not only his diehard fan but also followed the comic strip floated with name Supremo.
He has joined the blogosphere and he is displaying his sharp and scholarly views, surely a legacy of his great father. He has discovered a tool for challengers from media and S Sena’s paper which wrote mostly one-sided stuff regarding him and his family.
The recent conflicts on his blog had upset him. He was almost dragged by the people to stop blogging after a war of words on his website made him question his online presence. He revealed on his blog that he was shocked to learn of spiteful remarks made by those commenting on his posts, following a brief absence from the website. Though comment moderation could have helped him but moderation of thousands of comments on daily basis is no joke, but now it has to be observed.
But now as he received an overwhelming response of about 1280 comments (till the time I write this post) to his blog. Dipped in emotions, he has refused all reports claiming that he is bidding good-bye to the Blogosphere after expressing his anger over irresponsible comments posted on his blog. Just days after the media went buzzing with reports that superstar in a moment of fury has decided to stop blogging, Also last year when he was hospitalized in Lilavati Hospital the Bedridden Bachchan did not failed to contribute on his blog.
