Commitment not kept result in dishonest behavior. I wonder how any relation regardless of whether professional or personal would work if on says, “I will stick with you till I find something better” or “I will try but I cannot commit, don’t count on me.“
In parent-child, husband-wife or friend-friend relation there is no space for such element. The uncertainty of not being able to depend upon the basic tenets of these relationships could lead to insanity. Our strongest bond of relationship is tied with the bond of commitment. Some people who on breaking commitment or promise is considered no big deal have confined growth.
All relationship go sour without commitment. An integral part of a good value system is commitment. When your value system is clear it will be lot easier to make decisions and commitments. Todays RHR tells you to check your commitments.
