RHR # 22
All of us in this world are are bound to play many roles.
Just think it over, what role you are going to play today?
The role you are playing should be up to its fullest, other wise you won’t be able to survive the character of the demanded role and it can turn into a collapse show.
What an interesting question! For 30 years I actively and enthusiastically played the role of Mom. What a ride! And what a crash when I wasn’t needed for that role any longer, on a day-to-day basis. That was ten years ago, and I got really, really sick. Broke out in hives the very day my “baby” left for the army and boot camp, and I’m still not fully recovered. But I started meditating then, and realized that I am not my roles. Eckhart Tolle would say that roles are “content,” not “essence.” Now I don’t think much about roles. But as a writer, I am a Star. Most of the public just doesn’t realize it yet. Blessings…. Mary
