Being in this world…

Behaviour & Extinction

Today morning at 09:30 AM I went to the main branch office of PNB (Bank) in my town. I urgently required checking the status of my savings account which I have not operated from last Five years. I suddenly felt need of this account because I need to transfer some funds through this account a remote location near our orchard as they were having the branch out there. As I entered the branch I saw two very healthy guys, on exploring them I found that they were the employees of the bank and were right to put my problem. I tried to put forward my enquiry to them but at once a negative vibe from them resisted me. One of them asked me to wait because their computers will open at 10:00AM and due to which without paying any attention on me they indulged back in their baseless gossips.

Earlier I have also worked in Banking and there exists no such restriction which stops you to check your system as these systems work on 24*7 format.  Trying thinking positive I rested on the sofa lying on reception for visitors. The crowds started clogging around the counters from 09:45 onwards which started converting to queues. My heart didn’t allowed me to get up and plea to them for my work instead my priority of doing this work got diluted with their getting louder pearls of laughter.  I kept waiting up to 10:02 AM and eventually I moved out without any information.

On further contemplation I concluded a wonderful lesson out of it. I did not switched five years back from this bank for the reason that my new bank is offering more facilities than this bank. On surfing the websites of respective banks I found that both banks are trying to offer almost equal facilities. The former one being old is having a good reach to the remote villages. The main difference lies in the attitude of people working there. At least till date I have received a warmer response from my new bank.

Despite of all the modernizations on looking at the attitude of couple of people who seems to be cancer to the organisation I got inspired to not to do what they did, and in my mind I raised a question on their survival and hence their organisation in this highly competitive world.
