In a project clled Red Bull Stratos jumped from more than 24 miles above the earth surface, breaking the speed of sound before releasing his parachute. He broke the current freefall record of 19.5 miles held by Joe Kittinger, who set his record in year 1960.

The Red Bull Stratos seeks to advance scientific discoveries in aerospace for the benefit of mankind. One thing the former NASA astronaut Col.
