The most significant portion of any alliance is understanding how your partnership ideals will shift and change over the course of your developing business, depending on your needs. It entirely depends on what material both partners are constituted of and what are their priorities, their short term and long term goals.

Vinoba Bhave the famous Indian scholar and thinker explained beautifully the meaning of word ‘Association’ – “The rain drop from the sky, if it is caught in hands is pure enough for drinking. If it falls in gutter, it’s value drops so much that it can’t be used for washing the feet. If it falls on hot surface, it perishes. If it falls on lotus leaf, it shines like a pearl and finally, if it falls on oyster, it becomes a pearl. The drop is same, but it’s existence & worth depends on with whom it associates.”

While entering into an alliance one must appreciate that trust is precious and easily wasted, and guessing is a lousy foundation for future progress.
