Hacker group Anonymous has announced the launch of its own desktop operating system (OS) called Anonymous. The OS is launched only for educational purpose and to check security of web pages, the group writes on the Anonymous-OS blog, urging users not to use it to attack any website.
The Anonymous-OS is built upon Ubuntu 11.10 and uses the MATE desktop environment. It comes pre-installed with a number of hacking tools including, ParolaPass Password Generator, Find Host IP, Anonymous HOIC, Ddosim, Pyloris, Slowloris, TorsHammer, Sqlmap, Havij, Sql Poison, Admin Finder, John the Ripper, Hash Identifier, Tor, XChat IRC, Pidgin, Vidalia, Polipo, JonDo, i2p, Wireshark and Zenmap. It is available as a 1.5 GB direct download from SourceForge.net.
