Rain room at modern museum Barbican art exhibit is a place where people when step in, the rain drips halt. It is a place where you can dance in the middle of rain without having getting wet.
How Barbican Rain Room works?
Rain Room at the Barbican, Museum of Modern Art is a hundred square meters of field of falling water which you may walk through and experience without fear of getting wet your clothes.
This magical experience is created by controlled rain. In this field the installed system has a scope of tracking ten people – where ever they go, the rain will stop.
The Cameras and motion sensors installed around the room detect human movements and send instructions to the rain drops to continually move away from visitors.
The water is collected with the help of a grid in the floor where it is treated before being sent back up to the ceiling to fall again.
