A new blog is created somewhere in the world every half a second. Not all but blogs do carry influence, surveys suggest that lot of Internet users prefer reading reviews published on blogs before making a purchase. In this ambience many writers, marketers, and others start blogs in the hopes of making some easy money.
However, these bloggers suffer exhaustion sooner than most people anticipate it. Lot of people lose sight of their goals when they don’t see traffic coming their way. You can’t be blamed. It’s just human nature. We want results.
Our actions are inspired by results. Everybody needs motivation to do something. If you are working on a 9-5 job, then maybe it’s the salary that motivates you. Sometimes it may be the work culture or even the job itself that motivates you. Whatever you do, you need to be constantly motivated. It’s no different with blogging.
Blogging Passion
Blogging isn’t trouble-free, particularly if you choose a niche simple based on how much money you think you can make. It’s a clumsy way of starting a blog because you’re missing a prime element: Blogging passion. It takes a lot of time to set up your blog, to conceive the idea, research, hosting, design, schedule, content creation. Not finished here, you have to create compelling content, read and comment on other blogs, learn SEO, and write guest posts, network with other bloggers and so on.
I come from a non writing background earlier I mostly use to wrote, what I knew. In other words, even if you’re writing fiction, use your real-life interests and experiences in your writing to create stories that are believable. “Blogging what you know” goes beyond choosing a niche, though. It’s also something to keep in mind each time you write a post.
Lots of other bloggers have talked about how storytelling is an effective form of blogging, and I agree. When you talk about your own life in relation to your niche, it’s easier to connect with readers and write posts that are unique, rather than what everyone else out there is already writing. It’s a way to talk about the same information in a new way.
At times, blogging what you don’t know but wish to know can give your blog that extra little “something” it takes to be really great. I’m not suggestive of that you start a blog about a topic when you don’t already have knowledge about that topic. Though people want the writer to be an authority but you don’t necessarily have to be an expert, I mean if you don’t know anything about SEO, don’t start a blog about training SEO.
What I want to indicate is to blogging about what you don’t know is this: speak to people about your shortcomings and about your learning process. People want to be able to relate, you have to show up that you’re human. Even if you do consider yourself to be an expert in your niche, nobody knows everything. It makes your more real to readers, which makes your other advice stronger. It is about your urge to learn.
When it comes to content creation, there’ really no one right or wrong approach. You’ll find definitely find an audience if you write what you’re passionate about.
