On this last day of the year as soon as I reach my office I found my room scented with lots of fresh daffodils picked from our orchard. Alas, I could manage to capture the ambience in the picture. However I just sit back and analyse the whole year.
This year-end practice amazes me how I’ve changed and what I’ve done over the last year. All of this showed me what I’ve been obsessed about, what I’ve been working on, what I’ve been learning, what I’ve read, where I’ve gone, who I spent time with.
I would never have guessed whatever happened, I didn’t plan it, it just ended up being what I was moved to do. Here I take this opportunity to share one of my best lessons from the great leaders and motivators of the world whose text I encountered during the year.
Please remember that the world keeps changing every day. If you don’t change, you’ll be left behind. You reap what you sow with your time.
- Spend time to drink, you may become an alcoholic.
- Spend time to complain, you may become a blamer.
- Spend time to beautify yourself, you may turn prettier.
- Spend time to stay healthy, you may enjoy a healthier life.
- Spend time to be picky, you may become a ‘mean’ person.
- Spend time to learn, you may gain wisdom.

If you spend time with your family, you may foster a warm and loving relationship with your loved ones.

On the similar lines WWF has created a one minute video which is worth watching from the middle of whatever you are doing. See ya next year.
