Developing Passion

by | Aug 16, 2009 | Productivity

Passion is a strong feeling about a subject or a certain individual and it automatically keeps on increasing when you practice it. It clearly indicates if you have the mild spark you can become passionate. As they say out of sight is out of mind so you to keep your passion alive you are responsible somewhere. You might not find this passion on your first attempt, but by looking, you’ll start the process and eventually find it.

When you write with passion, not only does it show in your writing and help motivate you, it actually makes you better. This happens over time, but it’s inevitable your writing gradually gets transformed. It’s not a magical quality it’s just the idea that the more you do something, with intensity; the better you’ll be at it.

If you don’t already have this passion, you’ll need to find it. You cannot afford to live a passion-less life. To have something to say worth listening to, you need to care about something, deeply. Seek out this passion by opening your mind to it, by looking for things that are interesting to you, by reading about interesting people and emulating them, by trying new things and being willing to make mistakes, by getting good at something through intense practice, by allowing yourself to get excited!

When work, commitment, and pleasure all become one and you reach that deep well where passion lives, nothing is impossible. Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.

Surround yourself with quality writers and bloggers. The best people have passion, and reading them will inspire you to do the same. It is quite true that passion can turn you slightly abnormal but choice is solely yours if you want to always be normal.
