We encountered winters without passing to summers this month. I felt as if one-third of the whole cool month of October were holidays. This is indeed after a long time when I enjoyed so much of the holidays. In fact, I took it as if these were going to recharge me but practically they made me lazier.

My Diwali was slightly low because the naughty part of our family was abroad tour. Kangra’s cousin Ritu was beaten badly by her husband Manna we used to call him Khopdi ‘A drunkard character from an old classic TV Soap namely Nukkad’. I didn’t know it earlier but I was told that this has been done by him earlier also.

My father in law along and one of his friends accompanied my uncle on his way to Kangra to resolve the issue. As per me, she has to be brought back for at least the next six months and the incident has to be documented with the police for future reference. But these guys are masters in tackling innocent people and sending them back with some promises. Everyone in the family is not only having very harsh feelings for the family but for the whole area.

‘Chanda’ another little cousin of mine has broken down by a mental setback. Maternal uncles are on their way to Dharampur. She had been behaving unnaturally. This was quite strange; in fact, she got plucked in one of her exams and is supplemented with the partitioning of the family shook her like anything. Maybe it is for good but the poor little child is quite sensitive and emotional to handle all this.

It was good to see Arti Bhabhi and Arnab full of life I found both of them excited about crackers. Recently they have been to Gujrat and showed us some expensive shopping from there. Had a word on the phone with an expressionless Bhushan Ji.

Reminded of Mr Anand who told me that during the whole tenure of BBR, his voice frequency didn’t even change for a few decibels. Nice to have him after a long time, no one amongst us has changed a little like the dog’s tail. Exchanged Diwali Gifts with TG on the road while coming back. The professionalism of Jai is all the same, he surprised me by reaching my place at 10:00 PM before Diwali day.

As of now, the festivity all around is over. Everyone in the office is happy with the increase in power of our immediate boss. At home initiated my war room and put lots of things on the whiteboard. The assignment submission date has been reached but I am still there with the hope that the days of leisure are over at home now needed to focus on work. Trying to focus on my new technical blog.
