I try SO hard to be a good friend to my friends, and my family too. I’ve lost too many to take anyone for granted. But I tend to hibernate, especially in cold weather, like we’re having now (4 degrees F). Don’t have a car, so I hole up in my little burrow. Not good. I notice it especially when I meditate on the connectedness of all sentient beings. I am way TOO connected to my non-sentient couch.
