A wonderful presentation on the technology phase we are heading has been forwarded. It is estimated that 4X10^19 of unique information will be generated this year which is more than the previous 5000 years. It is estimated that a week’s worth of the NY Times contain more information than a person was likely to come across in a lifetime in the 18th century.

A strand of fiber has been tested which allows14 trillion bits per second which means 210 million phone calls per second. In near future a computer machine is expected which is expected to have far more computational capabilities than the entire human species.
