Friendly Cooperation

by | Mar 9, 2008 | Idiosyncrasies

All of us require friendly cooperation but the question arises are we ready to deliver the same. Most of the times, the wrong we do to others and what we suffer are weighed differently. It is difficult to achieve success without the friendly cooperation of others.

Some people think themselves to be on weaker side if they would give much room to others. A pleasing personality is flexible and adaptable while maintaining composure. Flexibility does not mean flimsy or helpless behavior. It means assessing and responding appropriately and in a timely manner to a given situation. Flexibility does not stretch to principles and values.

People who are true friends in the real sense help one another, but these are not favours. They are acts incidental to friendship and never the purpose of it. As I stated in my previous post if ever helping each other become the purpose of friendship. Purpose goes, friendship also goes.

Relationships don’t just happen, they take time to build. They are built on kindness, understanding and self-sacrifice, not on jealousy, selfishness, puffed up egos and rude behavior.Relationships should never be taken for granted. Once relationships are established, they need to be nurtured constantly. Nobody is perfect. Expecting perfection is setting you up for disappointment. Remember one of the most significant elements of friendly cooperation is showing and invoking your Empathy.

I agree that you need to keep working at a relationship of friend. Very good points.

Friends are the best blessing. They choose you and you choose them. Some are forever and some just for a few years, but they all leave behind a thought, smile or memory that makes us smile.
