Diwali is among the most celebrated of all Indian festivals where everyone comes together, great joy is paid to the triumph of good. It is a celebration of light and family and is relished with firecrackers.
Diwali brings a business opportunity to almost every business person, market is filled with ‘Diwali Dhamaka Offers’ other then India Diwali is celebrated in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, United States, South Africa, Guyana, Surinam, Trinidad, Netherlands,
With more and more Indians now migrating to various parts of the world, the number of countries where Diwali is celebrated has been gradually increasing. Diwali is celebrated in various parts of the world, particularly those with large populations of Hindu and Sikh origin. While in some countries it is celebrated mainly by Indian emigrants, in others it has become part of the general local culture.
I personally like the festival not for the fireworks but mainly because this traditional celebration brings about laborious cleaning of the house weeks in advance, and the new purchase for house and family. On the same time I hate it as well for all the noise and pollution it cause particularly the foul-smelling ‘snake’ which emerged when a little black pill was set on fire, and left marks on tiles. Technology surrounds’ us how so ever, the joy of celebrating the occasion with family is incomparable.
