It was quite inspiring to watch Ghajini. The inspiration which I was able to draw from the movies was that most of the time we forget our objective in our life. There is a lot of distraction in our environment which dilutes the end result of our deeds so called destiny. Words like Aim, Passion, Excitement, Focus, Enthusiasm, Pleasure, Concentration, Target, Intensity crossed my head to look at the character played by Mr. Aamir Khan.
When faced with a challenge or some great project that you know you have to achieve, do you find yourself procrastinating? Do you look for ways to avoid facing the challenge because it all seems far too much?
And I’ve also come to know that by ‘putting off until tomorrow what you can do today’ is only delaying the inevitable. Which is why, when faced with a challenge or a big project that I need to undertake, I take a deep breath and just do it!
Whatever you do, or dream you can do, begin it – boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now!
Once you’ve taken that first step, you know that you’re moving forward … you’re taking positive action … and you’re closer to achieving the desired result.
Whether it’s starting the book you want to write, or commencing a trek across the Himalayas or changing your diet so that you can lose some excess weight and improve your health, as soon as you begin, you’re on your way to realizing your goal.
So, do what I do. Take a deep breath … focus on what you have to do … and go to it.
Life is so precious. When you idly lose a minute here and there through procrastination, fear or laziness, you don’t get that time back. It’s gone forever. So don’t lose your precious time.
Take a deep breath and begin what you have to do ‘RIGHT NOW!’ And once you’ve started, you’ll probably be asking yourself what the fuss was all about! You see, the mind can call up all kinds of images of problems ahead when really a challenge is never as difficult or as fearsome as you think.
Have a wonderful week of action!
Mood: Intense
I am trying to be less intense. I can be overbearing if I let myself go.
