Being in this world…

Occupation and Passion

If you feel that there is a decline in your innovation or there is the lack of ideas and you feel drained. If people are not appreciating your work. It means either your work is not worth of appreciation or the people which are your audience do not posses that appreciation for you.

This is for sure that you can achieve success while doing the job which you are passionate about otherwise it becomes so mechanical that you won’t see anything happening around you.

How much mind share you devote to your passion?

How can you buy something when you are not ready to pay the price? Only you have to choose your way. You’ll find many who are dissatisfied of their jobs.

Recently I was reading about ‘Gail Kelly’ a South African lady who was working as a school teacher often yelling on her students and was quite dissatisfied of her job. She was married at 21 in Zimbabwe. While travelling in school bus she often used to think as if the school is not the right place for her. One day she suddenly decided to discontinue her job and applied for the job of a clerk with a bank. She was lucky enough to grab this new job and passionately proved herself for it.

When Kelly turned 30, she was promoted to the HR department of the bank. At this point of time she was mom of three and was expecting her fourth child but she never looked back and completed her masters in management with many other certifications of the bank. Along with her husband she decided to migrate to Australia at the age of 41. Here she joined other banking job.

Currently she is 54 and is counted as one of the richest persons of the country and is working as a CEO to Westpac Bank. In 2010, Forbes ranked her the 8th most powerful woman in the world. Just rewind to 33 years back when she use to be penitent of her job as a school teacher & suddenly decided to drop it.

This story can be yours or mine, if one is not feeling good about its work it time to change. Though i am not feeling so bad about my current job but underutilised.

I have to devise certain methods to get used the fullest of one’s potential. Most of us keep on doing our existing jobs thinking it to be a continuous source of our income. This ways we are limiting ourselves.

Everyone is not as lucky as eminent writer ‘Chetan Bhagat’ and Director ‘Rajkumar Hirani’ the role models of many and very close live examples in our social setup, they altogether refused to go against their conviction and successfully proved themselves.

The point is to at least attempting to explore avenues. Most of the times we keep on compromising for one or other reason, and eventually we do not feel happy about it.

Increase your efficiency

How to increase your efficiency is the main area where you need to focus upon. Just have your objectives clear and practice it until you expertise it. Everything including happiness, contentment, health, wealth, fame shall follow you.

Set short term long term goals for you and quantify them and if you are lacking the external environment innovation you may check your company with what kind of people you generally spend most of your time.

If you really want to become smart ass and think of yourself right all the time it needs to be checked. Have you ever thought how much important is listening to other people. You cannot avoid it, as it somehow subconsciously starts working.

Be Content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.
