Love is a complex feeling this is what I realized after watching the October Movie

In recent past ‘October’ is undoubtedly the most beautiful and soulful movie with a real and humane story I’ve seen. It’s quite difficult to explain the emotion, only I can say is – it’s an ordinary heartfelt story about unconditional love and is more to be felt rather than to be simply watched.

This movie is emotionally charging and the performances of all the actors are captivating. The brilliant mind behind this movie did not let me down even for a while rather made a benchmark in my mind with such a poetic affair. It’s about love that has power to change you.

The movie unfolds at a leisurely pace, but never lacks spirit. The cinematography, background score, direction and good screenplay breathes life into every single scene. The brilliance of the film lies in its grounded realism, and believable characters.

The story is believable and you feel like living through along with its character. It breaks the general perception of romance in movies which is quite materialistic and a demands reciprocation.

It’s not about logic rather about the unconditional feeling of love, it gives you a meditative and philosophical take on love and life which stays back in your consciousness.

The movie is not meant for everyone but just for classes. There are no songs or dream sequences. Just plain and subtle nuances that show development of deep emotional bond. It is brilliantly written and even the minor sub-plots has lots of detailing.

High on technical grounds the film is amazingly enriching visually, scenes involving routine conversations are crafted in a way to keep you engrossed. Seasonal changes, passage of time, the patience of the characters and a lot of other things has been conveyed by beautiful camera work.

The film length is kept in limit, the ‘Kullu sequence’ is entirely shown with a background conversation. And the beautiful conversation towards the end metaphorically explains the whole gist of the movie.

Slow, yet engaging, it leaves you numb and creates a long time impact on your mind.
