Being in this world…

The Bigger Fruit

by | Feb 13, 2008 | Idiosyncrasies

Once in my school time I was given two apples by my parents from whom one was for my younger brother. On my way to my brother I scrutinized both of the fruits and found difference in their sizes, but obvious being an elder brother I assigned the smaller fruit for my little brother.

On the way I was not able to prevent and I started munching the bigger fruit and didn’t stopped until it finished. Half of the way was still left and impulsively my reflexes forced me to eat another fruit. I started experiencing a kind of itching in my jaws which according to my auto suggestive mind can be eradicated by only this particular apple in the whole world. Suddenly the face of poor little brother flashed in my mind and I bunged up myself.

On reaching my brother I was subconsciously guilty of eating the bigger fruit and with the heavy heart I presented him the smaller one. It added to my surprise when he offered the half fruit back which I miserably refused by stating him the reason.

This small incident shook my conscience and I tried contemplating the joy of accepted wisdom by giving the bigger apple to my childlike little brother.
